Stu Manzione is an attorney and a partner at Furey & Furey, P.C., a well known Nassau County firm. During the past six years, he has been actively  involved in many organizations providing services, support and research to benefit children with autism. 

   He met Pat Elvir and became a David Center Board member in 1999 while volunteering as President of the Young Autism Program Charitable    Foundation, a Foundation he help create. He acted as President of YAP from 1998 to 2000 and helped to enable the Young Autism Program to expand its services to scores of autistic children. Ironically, Stu had been the big brother of an autistic child as part of his undergraduate Psychology program at CW Post.

   In 1990 Stu married his wife Terri. They live in Glen Head, NY and are the proud parents of two sons, Joseph 10, and Stuey, 9. 

   Stuey was diagnosed with autism in 1997. He is presently enrolled in Ascent: A School for Individuals with Autism, where his smile and steady progress captures the heart of every teacher.
